A TREASURED GIFT

Mom and Dad asked us to come over the other night because they had an anniversary gift for us. We were shocked and delighted when we opened the box to find Mom's sterling silver set!! These pics don't show much detail, but it is a beautiful set. They're all polished and ready to go....now I'm ready for the Queen!!

OTHER CAMERA

After Jack hopped up here, and I gasped, he said, "that's what Cornel would've done...oh, wait... no, he would've walked along the railing." My "artistic" photo on one of our bike rides Sorry, Johnny and Emily...we couldn't wait for your business to take off. Dad got some jam from Hartman Gardens one time in a restaurant on one of his fishing trips. It's made in Montrose, CO, so we, of course, had to find it!! We bought a case and a half! :-) (but, that doesn't mean we don't want any Harvey jam!!!!!!) A "post script" from earlier....when we were on our way to the corn festival in Olathe, I said to Jack, "I thought you didn't like crowds"...to which he replied, "I love corn more than I don't like crowds." :-)

MORE PICS

These are the San Juans that were hidden by the clouds when we were in Ouray. This is from a scenic overlook at our campground. Our new campground near Fruita (outside of Grand Junction) It reminds us of Phoenix (and it's hot, too!) This is a little lake that we look out on from our camp spot. We fished last night and caught a bunch of little ones (but didn't keep any this time)

YES, THAT'S ME CATCHING FISH!!!

We had these Rainbow trout for dinner last night... FRESH caught and delicious!! ( I think they taste better when you catch them yourself!) cleaning my catch... time for a LITTLE R & R...not much of that happens when vacationing with Jack Harvey! Hot Springs pool in Ouray

OLATHE, COLORADO CORN FESTIVAL

What would a vacation with Jack be without a "festival"? He had about 6 ears down before he took a breath That must've been SOME huge turkey!!! the epitome of festivals...junk food stands

Ouray...I got a little carried away :-)

OURAY, COLORADO

these pictures do not do it justice....this is one of the most spectacular looking towns I have ever seen Box Canyon Falls...WOW! The force of water here is breathtaking It took all the courage I could muster to walk on metal bridges out to see this... ...but, it was very much worth it...pics don't capture it, take my word for it

This campground is much prettier than it looks here!

"Our RV in our camp spot in Rideway State Park Our resident pet, "Chip" Shooting practice Annie Oakley, getting ready Dont' mess with me...I'm a pretty good shot!
