Well, I had everything all set...a towel to put on top of the hot tub cover, a hat, jacket, and camera. I thought Cassandra would be awake by the time the Thunderbirds flew by our house, en route to do their fly over show at the Air Force Academy's graduation. But, she slept right through it...a 3 hour nap today. So, I put the baby monitor by the door, so I would hear her if she did awaken, and went on the deck to try to take some pics. Not nearly the same as
being there, but exciting, nonetheless. One of the many reasons Colorado Springs is a great place to live. HOWEVER, there
oughta be a law...while this patriotic and aaamaaaazing spectacle is taking place is the sky, one neighbor's painting crew had their machines on full blast as they were spray painting the house...and, the neighbor on the other side was having their lawn mowed! Kinda takes away from the whole patriotic swell of emotion. All machines should be stopped between 12:45 and 1:15 on the last Wednesday of May in C.S.!!!! I'm serious. It should be a law.

You have to look reeeally hard to see them in this one

Okay...so, I got a little carried away
