VIRGINIA, continued....

In the previous post, Addysen wasn't in a lot of the pics, so here are some of her.  This one & the next are her school photos.

We went to a beautiful park/trail and took a few shots of us with the 3 girls

At the apple festival

Such a good big sister

VIRGINIA!

Our newest granddaughter, Brielle Mae

We enjoyed our ice cream in this cute little gazebo.  By the end, I was running around the gazebo with lots of napkins, cleaning up drips.  Haha!
The girls had fun at a bounce place

The big girls had fun!!!!!!

unbelievable how nothing stops Haven...these slides were so high!

Toddler area

A break to repair bow slippage

After the bounce place, we took them to Chic-Fil-A.  BUT, on the way we had to pass this....

...and, this....and, actually a couple more distractions.  We also had to pass all these when we were done, too.  : )

Nothing like a sleeping baby

One of Haven's quieter moments

The real Haven.  : )

Play time at a beautiful park in Bedford

I was able to spend alone time with Haven a couple days, while Addysen was at pre-school and Noelle had events to attend.

When we first arrived....(travel hair!)

We went to an apple festival near Charlottesville

We got to pick our own apples!

JIM'S SEPTEMBER VISIT

After picking Jim up from the airport, we went to get pizza in Old Colorado City.
They have a great outdoor patio, where we were able to relax and catch up.

On Sunday, we were able to get the local family together to visit with Jim.
SO excited that Johnny & Emily are now "local"!

Auntie Em made pecan pie...NUM...it was delicious!!

Jim and I took care of some business for Dad...many address changes

Jim enjoyed playing with and photographing Sacha

This guy was behind Jack's office one day during that week.  Yikes!!

GLENWOOD SPRINGS

Our second annual Labor Day weekend to Glenwood Springs with Cassandra.  We stayed at the Residence Inn this time.  It worked out so much better, because it was a suite, so we didn't have to sit in the dark at 8:00, when Cassandra went to bed. : )
                                                            Petting a grasshopper

Dinner at Juicy Lucy's, on their outdoor patio
Our bedroom.  We put Cassandra to bed here and then carried her into her hide-a-bed in the living room later, when we would go to bed.
                                                     The wonderful Hot Springs pool

                                                              A picnic at a park
Papa wanted to visit a cemetery.  Made for some interesting
                                           conversations. : )

Adventure Park, at the top of the mountain...rode a gondola to get
there.  This ride is like a ferris wheel, only it's mining carts.
                                            Spectacular views from the top

And, we visited the caves again...and, saw "tinker bell" again

                                                       lunch, overlooking the town
This is my favorite picture.  Papa took Cassandra on the
Alpine Coaster.  When she got off, she said, "That was
really, really, really FUN!!"  So, they went again, a bit
later, and Jack said he went even faster the second time.
The girl who was running this ride let Cassandra ride
a bunch of times, on the same ticket.  The girl was
                                          from Romania.  : )
Huge sandbox...Cassandra makes friends almost instantly.
This park is in Carbondale, about 10 miles from Glenwood
Springs.  Again, Cassandra saw this little girl and went over
to give her a push on the swing.  They had a great time
                                         together.

We bought a coloring book & crayons for her, and you'd
think we had given her gold & diamonds. : )
And, this shot was deja-vu for us.  When we used to
bring our kids to Glenwood Sprgs., they would always
race to the elevator to push the button.
