GLENWOOD SPRINGS...with Cassandra

Here she is...with luggage nearby...right after Mommy & Daddy dropped her off.
She enjoyed watching "Berenstain Bears" most of the way
Lots of stair climbing to go across the street to the pool
Setting up "camp" for the morning...
Cassandra and penguin became fast friends
She would often walk ahead of us down the hallway where
we stayed
...stairs again to go out
Watching the trams as they come down the mountain
and...going up
I actually look pretty relaxed, don't I? It's all for show.
Beautiful scenery on the way
and, a fabulous cave tour at the top
Miss Sidney, our tour guide happened to mention
near the beginning of the tour that she would be
showing us Tinkerbell (towards the end of the 70 min.
tour!) Well, that was ALL Cassandra could talk about .
From that point on, all we heard was "Where's Tinkerbell?,
Where's Tinkerbell?" over & over & over. Miss Sidney
finally made a pinkie promise with Cassandra.
The views at the top were spectacular
and many amazing sights inside as well...HUGE cave!
The top of the mountain was called "Adventureland", and
there were all kinds of family entertainment. This is a swing
that flew over the mountain and took my breath away just
looking at it. We were trying to decide who in our family would
have the nerve to do this. We both agreed "Natalie". Any
other takers?
"No T's, Cassandra!" Papa's rule!
Huge sandbox
climbing wall
Lunch at a public golf course
kayaking the Colorado River (not us) :-)
taking penguin for a walk out to the balcony
Papa & Cassandra coming back from the last swim, b/4
we left. (Yia-Yia was packing) :-)
and, one more run down the hall for penguin....

What fun! Loved seeing all the pics! That cave looked incredible! And from your description when we talked I would have said no way to the swing, but after seeing the pics I say no chance in this lifetime!! :-) Glad you guys had such a good time.
