We had to turn these "city folk" into cowgirls for the rodeo, so......

The rest of us had to find gear that was fitting for the rodeo

We tried real hard to find hats AND boots for all....but, Haven was the only one  lucky enough to have her size boots in the consignment store.  The other kids' boots we found would have required a bank loan to purchase.

But, at least we all got hats

FAMILY VACATION!..... STEAMBOAT SPRINGS

Jack & I arrived before anyone else and checked out the house.  It was BEAUTIFUL!  Plenty of space for everyone and very tastefully done. This is the kids' "bunk room".  We hid the ladders under the beds, for obvious reasons. : )

We saw this several times from our house...sometimes closer.  The g- kids usually spotted them first.

Okay...these were the people who chose the RIGHT thing to do the first night we were there (along with Jack).   They took the gondola up to the top of the ski mountain, had incredible views, a relaxing drink, and watched the sunset.  The rest of us endured the rodeo. : )

When Jim and Anita visited, we went to Ft. Logan, where Mom and Dad are buried

No rear-view vision...but, got everything in w/o buying a car top carrier

We also had good conversation, went to the "Lone Ranger", visited Cornel, Natalie & Cassandra, Johnny & Emily, toured "Passages", about the history of the Bible.  Good times with special family.
